Spanish Listed Companies Paid Out €11.19 Bn In Dividends To March - A Quarterly Record High

The companies listed on the Spanish stock exchange paid out €11.19 billion in dividends in the first three months of the year, double the amount paid in 2008 and a quarterly record high, according to statistics published by the Economic and Financial Studies Department of Bolsas y Mercados Españoles (BME).

NYSE Euronext (NYX) today reported net income of $104 million, or $0.40 per diluted share, for the first quarter of 2009, compared to net income of $230 million, or $0.87 per diluted share for the first quarter of 2008. Included in these GAAP results are $23 million of pre-tax merger expenses and exit costs for the first quarter of 2009, and $17 million for the first quarter of 2008.
DCE Market Closure Schedule For 2009 Labor Day

The Dalian Commodity Exchange (DCE) hereby announces the market closure schedule for the 2009 Labor Day according to the "DCE Holiday Schedule for 2009". The market will close from May 1 (Friday) to May 3, 2009 (Sunday) and open for trading on May 4, 2009 (Monday). During its market closing period, DCE will not adjust trading margin and price limit for any contract.
