When fiscal year 2010 starts on Oct. 1, 2009, the Securities and Exchange Commission expects to be operating under a continuing resolution that will extend through Oct. 31, 2009. During this period, fees paid under Section 6(b) of the Securities Act of 1933 and Sections 13(e), 14(g) and 31 of the Securities Exchange Act of 1934 will remain at their current rates.

Bursa Malaysia Securities Berhad (“Bursa Securities”) would like to announce that the High Court of Kuala Lumpur had on 18 September 2009 ordered Azimuddin bin Abd Ghani and Mohd Nor bin Abdul Raman, the directors of both Datuk Keramat Holdings Berhad and George Town Holdings Berhad to pay the fines imposed by Bursa Securities for breaches of the Listing Requirements. In addition, the directors were also ordered to pay the legal costs incurred.
