  • CFTC Announces Members Of The CFTC’s Technology Advisory Committee – Committee To Meet On July 14, 2010 To Discuss Best Practices For HFT/ALGO

    The first meeting of the CFTC’s Technology Advisory Committee (TAC), titled “Technological Trading in the Markets,” will be held on July 14, 2010 at 1:00 p.m., at the CFTC’s Washington, DC headquarters’ Hearing Room. The meeting will address the topics of algorithmic (Algo) and high frequency trading (HFT).   • Chief Information Officer Charles Boucher To Leave SEC

    The Securities and Exchange Commission today announced that Charles Boucher has decided to leave the agency after serving as its Chief Information Officer (CIO) since 2008. His plans include not-for-profit work and completion of studies in preparation for ordination as a Deacon in his church next spring.
