The international derivatives exchange Eurex announced today that it will be launching a new future that is based on notional short-term debt instruments issued by the Republic of Italy (Buoni del Tesoro Poliennali – BTP) on 18 October 2010. On September 9, 2010 the Council for the derivatives section of the Moscow Energy Exchange was elected by its Board of Directors.  Sergey Trofimenko, general director of OJSC Moscow Energy Exchange, was voted as  Chairman of the Derivatives Council.  Sergey Danov, OJSC RTS and Vadim Shakhlevich, CC RTS, were also elected as members of the Council, as representatives of RTS Group.
