Montgomery College Secures $200,000 Grant For Business Student Scholarships - NASDAQ OMX Educational Foundation's Gift To Support Students In College's Macklin Business Institute Honors Program

Montgomery College recently secured a two-year grant totaling $200,000 from The NASDAQ OMX Educational Foundation to support an existing endowed scholarship fund for students participating in the Gordon and Marilyn Macklin Business Institute Honors Program (MBI) at Montgomery College. Platts Report: China's July Oil Demand Pulls Back From June’s Record High - July Demand Up 2.7% Year On Year - Crude Throughput Rise Offsets Net Product Imports Drop

China's apparent* oil demand slowed in July, dropping from June’s record high of 36.74 million metric tons (mt) to 35.82 million mt or about 8.47 million barrels per day (b/d), according to the just released Platts analysis of official data from the People’s Republic of China. Burgundy Monthly Report July 2010: Declining Nordic Market Turnover

The average daily turnover was EUR 81.6 (97.7) million, a decrease of 16.5 percent. The average number of trades per day was 11,536 (11,154), an increase of 3.4 percent. The trading participant with the highest turnover was Handelsbanken with a turnover of EUR 774.4 (729.7) million. The most traded instrument was Volvo B, with a turnover of EUR 129.6 (195.2) million, an decrease of 33.6 percent.

The U.S. Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC) today announced that it obtained an emergency court order freezing assets held by defendants Jeremiah C. Yancy (a/k/a Jeremiah C. Glaub) of Atoka, Okla. and his company, Longbranch Group International LLC (a/k/a Longbranch LLC) (Longbranch) of Houston, Texas. The court’s order also prohibits the destruction of books and records and grants the CFTC immediate access to such documents.
