Standard & Poor's Announces Changes In The S&P/TSX Venture Composite Index

Standard & Poor's will make the following changes in the S&P/TSX Venture Composite Index after the close of trading on Friday, January 7, 2011: Strathmore Minerals Corp. (TSXVN:STM) will be removed from the index. The company will graduate to trade on the TSX under the same ticker symbol.

NYSE Euronext (NYX) led the U.S. market for Initial Public Offerings (IPOs) and new listings both in total capital raised as well as number of transactions in 2010, with $39.1 billion in IPO proceeds raised on the New York Stock Exchange (NYSE) through a total of 99 IPOS, including a record 22 IPOs from China and a rising share of technology companies.
