    ICAP, the world’s leading interdealer broker, announces today that it has extended its long-established distribution partnership with Japan’s QUICK Corp.     In February 2012, the total trading volume on the Natural Gas Market of the European Energy Exchange (EEX) amounted to 8,886,546 MWh, doubling the February volume traded last year (4,070,980 MWh).

    ETF Securities has on Friday 2 March launched a range of 14 new sterling-hedged Exchange Traded Commodities (ETCs) on the London Stock Exchange. The products are designed to mitigate the effects of currency volatility in the portfolios of sterling-based investors by reducing exposure to the US dollar - the currency in which most commodities are priced.

    The Stock Exchange of Thailand (SET) gears up its 2012 strategy to boost investment in exchange-traded funds (ETFs) and stimulate new ETF launches by holding the campaign “ETFs give chances to win a THB 10,000 gift voucher every week,” aiming to increase ETF purchases and boost assets under management to THB 7.5 billion (approx. USD 244.3 million) this year.
