Global CEOs And U.S. Small Business Owners Are Looking Beyond 2012 And The U.S. Election For Sustainable Improvement In The Economy And Job Creation

• Two-thirds of public-company CEOs and nearly 60% of U.S. small business owners project modest growth for the global economy beginning in 2013;
• 64% of public companies intend to add jobs in 2013, almost twice the rate of U.S. small businesses, many of which do not expect growth or new jobs this year or next;
• Lack of access to capital is prohibiting growth, innovation and new jobs, especially for small business in America;
• Ahead of the U.S. election, the majority of respondents say reductions in taxes, deficit, regulation, and entitlements will stimulate the economy and job growth.

On 8 August 2012, the Board declared payment of the Interim Dividend to Shareholders whose names appeared on HKEx’s register of members on the Record Date.  The Interim Dividend will be payable in cash with a scrip alternative under which eligible Shareholders may elect to receive the Interim Dividend wholly or partly in the form of New Shares instead of in cash.

Citigroup Global Markets Australia Pty Ltd (Citigroup) has paid a penalty of $30,000 to ASIC in order to comply with an infringement notice given to it by the Markets Disciplinary Panel, for the entry of a Priority Crossing in the ordinary shares of Fantastic Holdings Limited (FAN) on 20 May 2011, that allegedly resulted in the market for FAN not being both fair and orderly.

OSE has set up SPAN Parameter for calculating margin requirements as follows.

This SPAN Parameter is used for calculating "SPAN Risk Parameter Files" which are distributed on a daily basis. OSE sets and publishes new Parameters on the first business day of each week, which are applicable from the first business day of the next week.
