    The New York Stock Exchange, a subsidiary of NYSE Euronext (NYX), today released  its weekly program-trading data compiled from member firms' executed volume from  NYSE's orders database. The report includes trading on the NYSE for Aug. 27-31.

    ISDA represents a broad global range of over 800 OTC derivatives market participants including corporations, pension funds, insurance institutions, asset managers and other investment companies, energy and commodities firms, clearing houses, government and supranational entities, as well as global and regional banks, and is very pleased to have the opportunity to respond to the discussion paper. Since the inception of OTC derivatives in the 1980s, its members have referenced Libor rates as the floating rate in the majority of their interest rate transactions.   • ISE Introduces $0.50 Strike Price Intervals In Weekly Options

    The International Securities Exchange (ISE) today announced that it has received SEC approval to introduce $0.50 strike price intervals in weekly options. The exchange began listing weekly options in the more granular $0.50 strikes yesterday, offering an expanded range of strike prices and potentially a lower cost of entry to investors who are using weekly options to effect their trading and hedging strategies. This new program extends to weekly options classes that currently trade in one dollar increments, and all other contract terms remain unchanged.
