Warsaw Stock Exchange: Summary Of Work Of The Trading Session Schedule & Evening Trading Launch Working Group

- The working group for the trading session schedule and launch of evening trading presented the conclusions of the prepared analytical material on 2 March 2013.
- The WSE will receive additional analyses performed by an international consultancy which specialises in capital markets by 15 March 2013.
- Following the distribution of the complete set of analyses to the stakeholder community, a decision on the trading session schedule will be made in the latter half of March 2013.

ICE Reports February Futures Volume

IntercontinentalExchange (NYSE: ICE), a leading operator of global markets and clearing houses, today reported futures volume for February 2013. ICE's average daily volume (ADV) for futures and options was 3,640,377 contracts, a decline of 10% from the prior February. Total contract volume in February 2013 was 69 million. All prior period contract volumes have been adjusted to include the transitioned futures contracts, which previously traded in ICE's OTC markets.

European Power Exchange: Power Trading Results In February 2013 - New Record On French Markets

In February 2013, a total volume of 26.8 TWh was traded on EPEX SPOT’s Day-Ahead and Intraday markets (February 2012: 26.2 TWh). The French Day-Ahead and Intraday markets displayed particularly good results, with all-time records in trading volumes on both market segments despite the shorter month. Together, they accounted for roughly 6 TWh.

Trading On The Warsaw Stock Exchange - February 2013

- The value of total trading on the Main Market was PLN 16.6 billion in February 2013, a decrease of 22.2% year on year.
- Total trading on the Main Market year to date in 2013 increased by 19.1% year on year.
- The volume of trading in WIG20 options increased by 44.6% year on year in February 2013 (from 43.1 thousand to 62.4 thousand).
- The volume of trading in single-stock futures increased by 50.9% year on year in February 2013 (from 43.2 thousand to 65.2 thousand).
- The volume of forward transactions on the WSE Group electricity markets reached 12.1 TWh in February 2013, more than a five-fold increase compared to 2.1 TWh in February 2012.
- The monthly volume of trading in property rights increased by 70.5% year on year in February 2013 from 9.0 TWh to 15.3 TWh.
