The European Banking Authority (EBA), following requests from stakeholders, published today an update on the application date of its final draft Implementing Technical Standards (ITS) on additional liquidity monitoring metrics.

ESM Board Of Governors Approves Decision To Grant, In Principle, Stability Support To Greece

The Board of Governors of the European Stability Mechanism (ESM) approved today a decision to grant, in principle, stability support to Greece in the form of a loan programme. This decision follows the completion of national procedures that involved parliamentary approval in some of the ESM Member States. The basis for the Board of Governors’ approval was the assessment by the institutions and the proposal by ESM Managing Director Klaus Regling.

European Financial Stabilisation Mechanism: Council Approves €7bn Bridge Loan To Greece

On 17 July 2015, the Council adopted a decision granting up to €7.16bn in short term financial assistance to Greece under the European Financial Stabilisation Mechanism (EFSM). 

Hong Kong's Securities And Futures Commission Proposes Changes To Financial Resources Rules

The Securities and Futures Commission (SFC) today released a consultation paper on proposed changes to the Securities and Futures (Financial Resources) Rules (FRR) relating to capital and other prudential requirements for licensed corporations engaged in over-the-counter derivatives (Note 1) activity. The consultation paper also proposes certain changes to non-over-the-counter derivatives-related FRR requirements. The three-month consultation ends on 16 October 2015.

ACER Launches Public Consultation On The Incremental Capacity Proposal And Further NC CAM Amendments

From 17 July to 31 August 2015, the Agency for the Cooperation of Energy Regulators (ACER) is running a public consultation on suggested amendments to the Network Code on Capacity Allocation Mechanisms (Commission Regulation (EU) No 984/2013, hereinafter "NC CAM"), including the revised ENTSOG proposal for Incremental Capacity allocation and a change of the default auction calendar.
