The Securities and Exchange Commission today announced that Ukrainian-based Jaspen Capital Partners Limited and CEO Andriy Supranonok have agreed to pay $30 million to settle allegations they profited from trading on non-public corporate information hacked from newswire services.

EEX Approved As Registered Reporting Mechanism

The European Energy Exchange (EEX) has officially been approved as Registered Reporting Mechanism by the Agency for the Cooperation of Energy Regulators (ACER) on 11 September 2015. EEX will also serve as RRM for other exchanges of the EEX Group: Gaspoint Nordic and Powernext. The authorisation as an RRM is a prerequisite for offering data reporting services to market participants in the context of the Regulation on Market Integrity and Transparency (REMIT).
