BGC Partners Announces New Unsecured Credit Agreement

BGC Partners, Inc. (NASDAQ: BGCP) ("BGC Partners" or "BGC" or "the Company,") a leading global brokerage company servicing the financial and real estate markets, today announced that it has entered into a committed unsecured credit agreement (the "agreement") with a group of lenders. The agreement provides for maximum revolving loans of $150 million, with the option to increase the aggregate loans to $200 million.

EBA Publishes Opinion On Macroprudential Policy Measures Notified By The National Bank Of Belgium

The European Banking Authority (EBA) published today an Opinion following the notification by the National Bank of Belgium (NBB) of its intention to extend a measure introduced by the NBB in 2014 to modify capital requirements in order to address an increase in macroprudential or systemic risk. Based on the evidence submitted by the NBB, the EBA does not object the deployment of the macroprudential measures to address this issue.
New Telephone Number For Finansinspektionen On 10 March

Finansinspektionen is changing its 08-telephone number on 10 March. All FI employees will keep their existing extensions (the last four digits). The prefixes (the numbers preceding the extension) will be changed. The new prefix will be 08-408 9 instead of 08-787 and 08-586 4. The new phone number for the switchboard will be 08-408 980 00. Mobile numbers will not be changed.

CME Group Ultra 10-Year U.S. Treasury Futures Surpass One Million Total Contracts Traded Since January Launch

CME Group, the world's leading and most diverse derivatives marketplace, today announced that the Ultra 10-Year U.S. Treasury Note (TN) futures contract surpassed one million total contracts traded since its launch seven weeks ago on Jan. 11. This is also the first time in CME Group's nearly 170-year history that a new product hit the one-million contracts mark in such a short period of time. Other contracts that reached previous seven-week record highs include the Ultra U.S. Treasury Bond futures, which traded 523,000, and the E-mini Dow ($5) futures, which traded nearly 470,000.
