Six Issues To Be Focused On By Shenzhen Stock Exchange In Annual Report Auditing

This year, SZSE is stepping up efforts in regulation and supervision, and has expanded the scope of disclosure of the letters of inquiry regarding annual reports so as to increase the publicity of the disclosed information and the transparency of the regulatory work. Up to 3rd June, SZSE has publicized in its official webpage 152 letters of enquiry regarding annual reports. During the subsequent examination of annual reports of listed companies, SZSE attached significant emphasis to 6 issues including the authenticity of corporate performance, compliance of accounting and information disclosure, fund occupation, operation of the board, the supervisory committee and the shareholders' meeting, and fulfillment of performance commitments of underlying assets.

BM&FBOVESPA Publishes May Market Performance

Trading value in the equity market (BOVESPA segment) totaled BRL 139.58 billion in May compared with BRL 166.80 billion the previous month. Average daily trading value was BRL 6.64 billion, vis-à-vis BRL 8.34 billion in April. Total volume reached 19,650,240 from 20,752,185 the previous month. Average daily volume was 935,726 (1,037,609 in April).

In response to the release of the independent evaluator’s report of the Ombudsman for Banking Services and Investments (OBSI) published today, the Joint Regulators Committee (JRC) is issuing the following statement:
An effective and fair dispute resolution system is an important component of the investor protection framework. The members of the JRC strongly support OBSI as the dispute resolution service, and expect registrants to abide by their obligations by participating in OBSI's services in a manner consistent with their obligations to deal fairly, honestly and in good faith with their clients.

Peter Bleser Visits EEX In Leipzig

Today, the European Energy Exchange (EEX) had the pleasure of welcoming Peter Bleser, Parliamentary State Secretary at the German Federal Ministry of Food and Agriculture, in Leipzig. During his visit, Mr Bleser gained an insight into trading agricultural derivatives contracts at the exchange. At a high level discussion with EEX representatives, current topics of the agricultural trading segment were discussed, with a special focus on risk management instruments for the dairy industry. In this context, Mr. Bleser emphasised the importance of exchange trading as a hedging instrument for the agriculture and food sector.
