OneChicago Announces Trading Volume For December 2015 - Exchange Posts Third Consecutive Record Year As Total Volume Tops 11.7 Million
OneChicago, LLC (OCX), a securities finance exchange, today announced its December 2015 volume of 1,476,641, an increase of 36% year-over-year. OneChicago is a CFTC and SEC regulated exchange offering Single Stock Futures (SSF), a Delta One product, on approximately 1,800 equities, including ADRs and ETFs.

Nasdaq Maintains New Listings Leadership For U.S. Market In 2015 - Highest Number Of U.S. IPO listings And Exchange Listing Transfers For Third Consecutive Year - New Listings In 2015 Include Atlassian, Blue Buffalo, CSX, KraftHeinz, Match Group, PayPal, T-Mobile US And TD Ameritrade
Nasdaq (Nasdaq:NDAQ) welcomed 275 new listings, including 143 initial public offerings (IPOs) raising $16.6 billion, to the Nasdaq Stock Market in 2015. The IPOs that chose Nasdaq as their listing venue represent 73 percent of IPOs in the U.S. Of the top 100 best performing IPOs of 2015, 74 percent – including 8 of the top 10 – listed on Nasdaq.

OCC 2015 Cleared Contract Volume Third Highest Ever At 4.2 Billion - Total Volume Down 3 Percent From 2014 - OCC Securities Lending CCP Activity Up 19 Percent In December And Up 16 Percent Overall
OCC, the world’s largest equity derivatives clearing organization, today said 2015 cleared contract volume was its third-highest total ever at 4,210,542,258 contracts, representing a three percent decrease from 2014 volume of4,333,019,384 contracts. OCC ended the year with 345,836,508 cleared contracts in December, down four percent from December 2014.

CFTC Approves A Proposed Rule Providing An Alternative To Fingerprinting For Foreign Natural Persons
The U.S. Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC) announced today that it approved a proposed rule that would add an alternative for foreign natural persons to the requirement to provide fingerprints when applying for CFTC registration. The proposal would allow any such person’s registered firm to complete a criminal history background check in lieu of submitting fingerprints.
