International Women’s Day To Ring The Nasdaq Stock Market Closing Bell
What:
To commemorate International Women’s Day, Nasdaq and 34 stock exchanges from around the world will join UN Global Compact, UN Women, the Sustainable Stock Exchanges Initiative, International Finance Corporation (IFC), Women in ETFs and the World Federation of Stock Exchanges, to “Ring the Bell for Gender Equality,” raising awareness about the importance of gender equality to sustainable development and business.

The Ontario Securities Commission (OSC) reported today on its increased enforcement activity in 2015. Last year, the OSC commenced 31 cases (18 before the OSC Tribunal and 13 before the courts), compared to 22 in 2014.

The Comptroller highlighted the importance of international cooperation as well as efforts in the United States to improve cybersecurity and fight against money laundering. During the speech, Comptroller Curry also reiterated the agency’s expectations and role in banks’ process of reevaluating risk.

Chicago Board Options Exchangeâ (CBOEâ) announced today that it has joined with Bloomberg to establish direct connectivity between CBOE’s PULSe trader workstationâ (PULSe) and Bloomberg’s Execution Management System (EMSX), which can be accessed through the Bloomberg Professional service.
