HKEX And LME Announce New LME Chief Executive And Leadership Structure

Hong Kong Exchanges and Clearing Limited (HKEX) and the London Metal Exchange (LME), a wholly-owned subsidiary of HKEX, are pleased to announce the appointment of Matthew Chamberlain as Chief Executive of the LME effective immediately subject to the approval of the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) of the UK.

Shenzhen Stock Exchange Holds 2017 Members’ Assembly

On April 15, Shenzhen Stock Exchange (SZSE) held the 2017 general assembly of members in order to further improve its corporate governance structure, strengthen its front-line regulatory responsibility and advance the measures of “administering the market by law” and “managing the exchange by law”. At the assembly, Liu Shiyu, chairman of China Securities Regulatory Commission (CSRC), gave a keynote speech, CSRC vice chairman Jiang Yang gave a summary speech and Shenzhen vice mayor Ai Xuefeng also delivered an address. The assembly was presided over by SZSE chairman Wu Lijun and attended by representatives from 114 members, 2 special members, relevant departments of the CSRC, regional offices of the CSRC, institutions under the administration of the CSRC, relevant departments of Shenzhen Municipal Government, and market institutions and news media.

New Listing On The Vienna Stock Exchange: CLEEN Energy AG

A new stock has joined the regulated market of the Vienna Stock Exchange. Yesterday was the first trading day of CLEEN Energy AG in the segment standard market. The Vienna Stock Exchange is the exclusive trading venue for the company’s stocks. Price discovery and trading take place in a daily midday auction at 13.30 hrs. According to the company, 15.8% of its shares are publicly held. CLEEN Energy AG is headquartered in Sankt Margarethen and is specialized in energy efficiency for commercial and industrial uses.
