The Securities and Futures Commission (SFC) has banned Ms Abbie Yip Ka Ying, a former trader of BNP Paribas, Hong Kong Branch (BNP Paribas HK), from re-entering the industry for 18 months for breach of the Code of Conduct over her attempts to conceal a trade execution error.

SET Announces SET Indices Semi-Annual Review Results To Be Used In First Half Of 2018

The Stock Exchange of Thailand (SET) announces the semi-annual index review results for the SET50, SET100, sSET and SETHD indices to be used in the first half of 2018 (Jan 1 - June 30). Bursa Malaysia Launches Islamic Securities Selling And Buying Negotiated Transaction Framework

Bursa Malaysia Berhad (“Bursa Malaysia” or “the Exchange”) yesterday launched the Islamic Securities Selling and Buying Negotiated Transaction (ISSBNT) framework. ISSBNT is the world’s first Shariah-compliant alternative to Securities Borrowing and Lending (“SBL”) and was developed to provide a new mechanism for institutional Islamic capital market participants to trade with more flexibility, while still adhering to principles of Islamic finance.
