Investor Communications Japan (ICJ) Electronic Voting Platform Surpasses 800 Participating Issuers

Broadridge Financial Solutions, Inc. (NYSE: BR) announced today that Investor Communications Japan (ICJ), a joint venture of Broadridge and the Tokyo Stock Exchange, Inc. (TSE), has exceeded 800 participating share-issuing companies on its "electronic proxy voting platform" (hereafter referred to as the "ICJ platform"). There were 834 issuers on the platform as of 2 May 2017, which represents 80% growth over the past three years.

Nasdaq Stockholm Orders Oscar Properties AB To Pay Fine Corresponding To Two Annual Fees

The Disciplinary Committee of Nasdaq Stockholm has found that Oscar Properties AB (“Oscar Properties”) has breached Nasdaq Stockholm’s regulations (“the Rule Book”) and, accordingly, has imposed a fine on Oscar Properties amounting to two annual fees, corresponding to an amount of SEK 410,000.

Japan's Financial Services Agency, Bank Of Japan: Comments On The Intermediate EU Parent Undertakings Proposal

The Financial Services Agency and the Bank of Japan sent a comment letter on April 17, 2017 to the European Parliament (Chair of ECON, Rapporteurs on CRD and BRRD), the Council of the European Union (Director in charge of ECOFIN) and the European Commission(Director General at DG FISMA) regarding the comprehensive package of proposals to further strengthen the resilience of EU banks, which the Commission published last November.

Tokyo Commodity Exchange April 2017 Market Summary - TOCOM April 2017 Volume Averaged 83,875 Contracts, Down 9.8% Platinum Rolling Spot Continues To Trade Actively Into The Second Month

The Tokyo Commodity Exchange announced today that April 2017 daily average volume was 83,875 contracts, down 9.8% from March. Volume increased for agricultural products, such as Corn, which was up 42.6% to 1,338 contracts. Volume for most other products, including TOCOM’s most active contracts, decreased: Gold Standard dropped 13.2% to 21,035 contracts and Gold Rolling Spot declined 27.7% to 11,493 contracts.
