    As set out in the Minutes of the MPC’s meeting ending on 6 February 2019, the MPC has agreed to make £20.6 billion of gilt purchases, financed by central bank reserves, to reinvest the cash flows associated with the maturity on 7 March 2019 of a gilt owned by the Asset Purchase Facility (APF).

    In response to today's announcment from the UK's National Crime Agency that the son of an ex-Moldovan PM has been forced to hand over nearly half a million pounds, Ava Lee, Senior Anti-Corruption Campaigner at Global Witness said:

    "This kid is the son of an former Prime Minister imprisoned for abuse of power related to a billion dollar scandal, driving to uni in a Bentley, renting a pent-house that costs more each day than most students pay a month. The National Crime Agency should now be asking the bank, the university, the estate agent and the car dealer what checks they made on this suspicious spender and his Cayman Island companies."

    Jobs in ETFs, the world’s first ETF Career Platform and Specialized Recruitment Provider for the ETF Industry, successfully completed a major funding round from veteran investors Cheah Cheng Hye, nicknamed “the Warren Buffett of Asia”, and Jay Pelosky, former top ranked Morgan Stanley Global Strategist. The founder, Claud Mitrache, has retained majority interest in Jobs in ETFs and is working to build up its team and online platform to keep up with strong hiring demand from the ETF industry. This is the first outside fundraising by Jobs in ETFs, which commenced operations in 2017 with just founder’s money.
