ETFGI, a leading independent research and consultancy firm renowned for its expertise in subscription research, consulting services, events, and ETF TV on global ETF industry trends, reports the ETFs industry in Canada gathered a record  US$64.03 billion in net inflows during 2024.  Net inflows of US$8.65 billion were gathered during December, bringing year-to-date net inflows to a record US$64.03 billion, according to ETFGI's December 2024 Canadian ETFs and ETPs industry landscape insights report, the monthly report which is part of an annual paid-for research subscription service. Susi de Verdelon Appointed CEO Of LCH Limited

London Stock Exchange Group (LSEG) today announces that Susi de Verdelon has been appointed CEO of LCH Limited. Susi will assume the role in February 2025, subject to regulatory non-objection, and will report to Daniel Maguire, Group Head, LSEG Markets and CEO of LCH Group. The appointment follows the decision of Isabelle Girolami to leave LCH Limited as CEO, having held the position since November 2019.

The Market Misconduct Tribunal (MMT) has ordered Ms Choi Ban Yee, the wife of a chauffeur who worked for the family of the chairman of Tian An China Investments Company Limited (Tian An) at the material time, to disgorge $106,968 illicit profit gained from insider dealing in the shares of Asiasec Properties Limited, formerly known as Dan Form Holdings Company Limited (Dan Form), before a takeover involving the companies was announced.

According to Article 8 of the Risk Control Rules of Zhengzhou Commodity Exchange, Zhengzhou Commodity Exchange (ZCE) hereby adjusts margins and price limits of some futures as follows:

From the settlement on January 24, 2025, margins and price limits of Paraxylene and Sodium Hydroxide futures will be adjusted to 12% and 10% respectively. Margins and price limits of White Sugar, Cotton, Rapeseed Meal, Rapeseed Oil, Purified Terephthalic Acid, Methanol, Urea, Ferrosilicon, Manganese Silicon, Polyester Staple Fiber and Polyethylene Terephthalate Resin For Bottles futures will be adjusted to 10% and 9% respectively. Margins and price limits of Cotton Yarn futures will be adjusted to 8% and 7% respectively.

In accordance with the exchange's holiday trading schedule, the Shanghai Gold Exchange (SGE) will be closed from January 28, 2025 (Tuesday) to February 4, 2025 (Tuesday). There will be no trading on February 8, 2025 (Saturday) due to the regular weekend market closure. There will be no night session on January 27, 2025 (Monday), and normal trading will resume on February 5, 2025 (Wednesday).
