Tokyo Stock Exchange Establishes An Advisory Group To Review The TSE Cash Equity Market Structure

To enhance the global competitiveness of Japanese financial and capital markets, Tokyo Stock Exchange Group and Osaka Securities Exchange conducted a business combination to form Japan Exchange Group, Inc. Following the business combination, TSE integrated the cash equity markets in July 2013. During the integration, to avoid confusion and any unnecessary burden on listed companies, as well as investors, the structure of the cash equity market was unchanged.

EGX Launches The First Guide For All the Rules And Regulations Governing The Minority Shareholders’ Rights

The Egyptian Exchange (EGX) has launched a comprehensive guide for the rules and laws regulating minority shareholders 'rights, "Minority Shareholders' Rights". This guide aims at informing investors with the legislative framework regulating their rights in each of the new Investment Law No.72 for year 2017, EGX listing rules, its amendments, and the Corporate Law No.159 for year 1981, its latest amendments and its executive regulations. In addition to the new Capital Market Law No.95 for year 1992, its latest amendments and its executive regulations.

Market Trends
- Average daily trading value in cash equities over Q2 of FY2018 increased 5.8% year on year to JPY 3.25 trillion.
- As for derivatives, trading volume of all products increased 8.3% year on year to approx. 160 million contracts. Average daily trading volume of 10-year JGB Futures increased 23.6% year on year to approx. 40,000 contracts and that of Nikkei 225 Futures increased 5.8% year on year to approx. 176,000 contracts.

Financial Statements Of The Third Quarter 2018 For Companies Listed At The Amman Stock Exchange

The Deputy Chief Executive Officer of the Amman Stock Exchange (ASE) Mr. Bassam Abu Abbas said that the ASE is still receiving the quarterly reports of the period ended in September 30, 2018, from all companies listed at the ASE which have been reviewed by their auditors. The listed companies must submit quarterly reports reviewed by their auditors within one month after the end of the said quarter by virtue to the Directives for Listing Securities at the ASE for the year 2018.
