UK Financial Conduct Authority: Unauthorised Firm And Directors To Pay Restitution To Consumers

The High Court has consented to an order by which Samuel Golding, Shantelle Golding, Digital Wealth Limited and Outsourcing Express Limited will pay funds held by them to the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) for distribution to investors. The funds were raised by the defendants in unauthorised investment schemes operated by them.

Monetary Authority Of Singapore: Court Convicts Three Individuals For Insider Trading And Orders Forfeiture Of Criminal Proceeds

Mr Leong Chee Wai, Mr E Seck Peng Simon and Mr Toh Chew Leong were today convicted and sentenced to 36 months, 30 months and 20 months imprisonment respectively. They were charged with a total of 333 counts of insider trading offences. The individuals had carried out a front-running arrangement over a period of 7 years resulting in profits of S$8.07 million. This is the first case of front-running prosecuted as an insider trading offence in Singapore, which carries a more severe penalty.

The price differential of the Good Delivery material for the July 2019 contract month in the Rubber market has be determined as follows,

Pursuant to the provisions of Article 2.2 of the Rubber Delivery Detailed Rules, the price differential between the Good Delivery materials RSS No.3 and the non-standard grade RSS No.4 for the July 2019 contract month shall be -3.0 yen/kg.
