UBL Partners With Temenos And NdcTech To Modernize And Scale Its Digital Banking Strategy Across Channels

UBL, Pakistan's fastest-growing digital bank, has signed an agreement with Temenos (SIX: TEMN) and National Data Consultant (NdcTech) to provide and implement a next-generation digital banking solution. As a pioneer of innovation in the Pakistani Banking industry, UBL, earlier this year, launched Pakistan’s first Islamic Digital Account and the first of its kind ‘UBL Pay’ where customers can use their phones as debit cards. Through this agreement, the bank has embarked on a digital transformation journey across all channels, products and segments, including retail, SME and corporate, for its domestic and international markets.

Shenzhen Stock Exchange Adjusts Downward The Handling Fee Of Fund Transactions To Support The Development Of The Fund Market

Shenzhen Stock Exchange (“SZSE”) recently released a Notice on Adjusting Downward the Standard for Handling Fee of Fund Transactions. According to the Notice, from 19 July 2021 on, the handling fee of fund transactions on SZSE will be lowered from 0.00487% of the transaction amount to 0.004% of the transaction amount, which will be charged for both fund purchase and selling. Fund block trade will be charged 50% of the adjusted standard for a handling fee from both the buyer and seller.
