Hong Kong Securities And Futures Commission Bans Lau Kwo For 12 Months

The Securities and Futures Commission (SFC) has banned Mr Lau Kwo, former licensed representative of Mason Securities Limited (MSL), from re-entering the industry for 12 months from 3 July 2021 to 2 July 2022.

Bursa Malaysia Berhad (“Bursa Malaysia” or the “Exchange”) and FTSE Russell, a leading global index provider, today launched the FTSE4Good Bursa Malaysia Shariah (“F4GBMS”) index. This new Environmental, Social and Governance (“ESG”) themed index is designed to track constituents in the FTSE4Good Bursa Malaysia Index (“F4GBM”) that are Shariah-compliant, according to the Securities Commission Malaysia Shariah Advisory Council (SAC) screening methodology.

BNP Paribas Asset Management (‘BNPP AM’) announces the appointment of Steven Billiet as Head of Global Client Group and a member of BNPP AM’s Executive Committee, effective from 1st August, reporting to Sandro Pierri. He succeeds Sandro Pierri, CEO of BNPP AM as of 1st July. Currently based in Hong Kong, Steven will relocate to Paris after the appointment of his successor in APAC.
