SEC Charges Four Companies With Misleading Cyber Disclosures - One Company, Unisys Corp., Also Charged With Controls Violations

The Securities and Exchange Commission today charged four current and former public companies – Unisys Corp., Avaya Holdings Corp., Check Point Software Technologies Ltd, and Mimecast Limited – with making materially misleading disclosures regarding cybersecurity risks and intrusions. The SEC also charged Unisys with disclosure controls and procedures violations. The companies agreed to pay the following civil penalties to settle the SEC’s charges:

The European Banking Authority (EBA) published today a Decision setting out the procedural aspects related to the significance assessment of asset-referenced tokens (ARTs) and e-money tokens (EMTs) and the transfer of supervisory responsibilities, including the establishment of supervisory colleges for significant ARTs (s-ARTs) and significant EMTs (s-EMTs).

EEX Launches French Biogas Guarantees Of Origin Auctions In December

The European Energy Exchange (EEX) will start quarterly auctions for biogas Guarantees of Origin (GOs) on behalf of the French Ministry of Energy on 4 December, 2024. At the auctions, the French State sells GOs produced by selected biogas facilities benefiting from a state support mechanism.
