CFFEX: Notice On Issues Related To The Delivery Of Equity Index Futures And Options Contracts

Pursuant to the Trading Rules of China Financial Futures Exchange and relevant detailed implementation rules, the last trading day of a CSI 300 Index futures, SSE 50 Index futures, CSI 500 Index futures, and CSI 300 Index options contract is the third Friday of the expiry month. Where the last trading day is a public holiday or trading of that contract is suspended on that day for extraordinary situations or other reasons, the last trading day shall be postponed to the following trading day. Accordingly, the last trading day of IF2202, IH2202, IC2202, and IO2202(CSI 300 Index options contracts expiring in February 2022) is February 18, 2022.

To facilitate cross-border investment and financing, promote the global allocation of production resources, and advance the institutional opening-up of the capital markets, the CSRC has revised the Provisions on the Supervision and Administration of Depository Receipts under the Stock Connect between Shanghai Stock Exchange and London Stock Exchange (for trial implementation) (CSRC Announcement [2018] No.30, hereinafter referred as the “orginial Provisions”), whose name is now changed to the Provisions on the Supervision and Administration of Depository Receipts under the Stock Connect Scheme between Domestic and Overseas Stock Exchange (hereinafter referred as the “revised Provisions”). The provisions shall enter into force as of the date of promulgation.

The Commonwealth Director of Public Prosecutions (CDPP) has today withdrawn charges against Citigroup Global Markets Australia Pty Limited (Citigroup), Deutsche Bank AG and four senior banking executives in relation to criminal cartel allegations arising from an ANZ institutional share placement in August 2015. This decision was made in accordance with the Prosecution Policy of the Commonwealth.
