The US House of Representatives Committee on Agriculture held a hearing on 12 May titled "Changing Market Roles: The FTX Proposal and Trends in New Clearinghouse Models." The hearing featured testimony from FIA President and CEO Walt Lukken as well as representatives of FTX, CME Group, Intercontinental Exchange, and CoinFund, an investment firm focused on crypto assets.

West African Economic And Monetary Union (WAEMU)—Financial Sector Assessment Program And Financial Sector Stability Assessment

The Executive Board of the International Monetary Fund (IMF) concluded the Financial Sector Assessment Program (FSAP)1 with the WAEMU on April 27, 2022, without convening formal discussions.2 The Financial Sector Stability Assessment (FSSA) report was completed on April 13, 2022. The report is based on the work of joint IMF/World Bank FSAP virtual missions to the WAEMU completed between January 2021 and February 2022.

Pursuant to Section 5c(c)(1) of the Commodity Exchange Act, as amended (“Act”), and Section 40.6(a) of the regulations promulgated by the Commodity Futures Trading Commission (the “Commission”) under the Act (the “Regulations”), North American Derivatives Exchange, Inc.
