MARF Admits A New 100 Million Euro Bond Programme From The AQUA 2020 Securitisation Fund

BME's fixed income market, MARF, has admitted the first securitisation bond programme from AQUA 2020 Securitisation Fund for 100 million euros. AQUA 2020 is a securitisation fund incorporated under Spanish law, which is open on the assets and liabilities side, (i.e. it allows the successive incorporation of new credit rights and the issuance of new securities throughout the life of the Fund), and whose purpose is to finance present and future credit rights granted by Crealsa Investments Spain.

BaFin Investigates United Global Investing, Inc.

In accordance with section 37 (4) of the German Banking Act (Kreditwesengesetz – KWG), BaFin would like to make clear that United Global Investing, Inc. (based in Denmark and the United States of America) has not been granted authorisation under the KWG to conduct banking business or provide financial services. The company is not supervised by BaFin.

Shanghai Stock Exchange Officially Issues Detailed Rules For Trading Of Convertible Corporate Bonds And Guidelines For Self-Regulation To Promote High-Quality Development Of Convertible Bond Market

In order to implement the requirements of the Measures for the Administration of Convertible Corporate Bonds further regulate the business activities of convertible corporate bonds (hereinafter referred to as convertible bonds) of listed companies, promote the high-quality development of the convertible bond market, and protect the legitimate rights and interests of investors, the Shanghai Stock Exchange (hereinafter referred to as the SSE) has, under the overall guidance of the China Securities Regulatory Commission (CSRC), drafted the Shanghai Stock Exchange Detailed Rules for the Implementation of Trading of Convertible Corporate Bonds (hereinafter referred to as the Detailed Trading Rules) and the Guidelines No. 12 of the Shanghai Stock Exchange for Self-regulation of Listed Companies — Convertible Corporate Bonds (hereinafter referred to as the Guidelines for Self-regulation), and solicited public opinions. Overall, the market players showed great support for the institutional framework and main content of these rules, and put forward some comments and suggestions. After careful deliberation, the SSE absorbed and adopted some suggestions and officially issued relevant rules on July 29, 2022.

Shenzhen Stock Exchange Launched Shenzhen-Switzerland Stock Connect First Batch Of SZSE Listed Companies Listed GDRs On SIX

On July 28, Shenzhen Stock Exchange (SZSE) and SIX Swiss Exchange (SIX) jointly held the listing ceremony for the first batch of global depository receipts (GDRs) under the Stock Connect scheme between China and Switzerland via video link. The GDRs issued by two SZSE-listed companies, GEM Co., Ltd. (GEM) and Gotion High-tech Co., Ltd. (Gotion), were successfully listed on the SIX.

UK Financial Conduct Authority Regulation Boosts Consumer Protection In The Funeral Plans Market

From today, the FCA will regulate pre-paid funeral plans, following legislation passed by Parliament. The FCA is authorising 26 providers. Together these firms hold approximately 1.6 million plans, which make up 87% of the market.

Zhengzhou Commodity Exchange: Notice On Collecting Order Fees For Trading Certain Futures Contracts

According to Article 27 of the Detailed Rules for Futures Clearing of Zhengzhou Commodity Exchange, the Exchange has decided upon discussion to collect order fees on Methanol, White Sugar, Rapeseed Oil, Rapeseed Meal, Polyester Staple Fiber, Peanut Kernel futures contracts and to adjust order fees of PTA futures contracts from the night trading session of August 4, 2022.

In accordance with the Article 35 of the Clearing Rules of the Shanghai International Energy Exchange, the settlement price for low sulfur fuel oil futures LU2208 contract today is adjusted to 4501 RMB per ton.
