CME Group, the world's leading derivatives marketplace, today announced it will launch Micro E-mini S&P MidCap 400 and Micro E-mini S&P SmallCap 600 futures on
March 20 , pending regulatory review. These new contracts will complement the existing E-mini S&P MidCap 400 and E-mini S&P SmallCap 600 futures. -
ABN AMRO Bank N.V. Frankfurt Branch: BaFin Imposes Administrative Fine

On 25 January 2023, the Federal Financial Supervisory Authority (Bundesanstalt für Finanzdienstleistungsaufsicht – BaFin) imposed an administrative fine amounting to EUR 3 million on ABN AMRO Bank N.V. Frankfurt Branch. This was because the branch’s management did not have appropriate access to the Compliance Report for the 2019 financial year. The administrative fine order is final and binding (see info box “Announcement”).

US Startups Raise $5.9 Billion VC Funding During January 2023, Reveals GlobalData

Venture capital (VC) funding activity in the US is reeling under the impact of volatile market conditions and subsequently the total value of these deals fell below $10 billion in January 2023. A total of 498 VC funding deals were announced in the US during the month while the disclosed funding value of these deals stood at $5.9 billion, according to GlobalData, a leading data and analytics company.

Benoît van den Hove To Succeed Vincent Van Dessel As CEO Of Euronext Brussels

Euronext today announced that the Supervisory Board of Euronext N.V. will propose the appointment of Benoît van den Hove as CEO and Chairman of Euronext Brussels and member of the Managing Board of Euronext N.V., at Euronext’s Annual General Meeting on 17 May 2023. As he will reach retirement age in December 2023, Vincent Van Dessel will step down as CEO of Euronext Brussels on 1 July 2023 and as Chairman of Euronext Brussels on 1 December 2023.
