The Chicago Board of Trade announced today that CBOT members have passed another critical milestone in the growth of the 10-Year agency note futures contract. CBOT members have traded above the 20,000 open interest level 15 days in a row, and set open interest records on the last five trading days.
CBOE Eliminates All Fees On Customer Stock Option Orders

The Chicago Board Options Exchange (CBOE) today announced that effective May 1, 2000 it is eliminating all Exchange fees for public customer stock option orders regardless of size or routing method. Currently, customer fees for stock option orders that are not electronically routed include a 9-cent transaction fee, plus a 5-cent trade match fee and a 3-cent floor brokerage fee.

On April 17, OME Aluminium futures opened sharply lower with some contract months falling to the day's limit-lows after the considerable drop in LME three-month aluminium by $37 to $1462 at the weekend.
