The IPE announced the results of its Board elections at its Annual General Meeting held this afternoon. Two Directors were re-elected for a second three-year term. These were Andrew Gooch, Managing Director of Credit Lyonnais Rouse Limited Commodities division and Chris Moorhouse, Chief Executive of BP Oil International Trading.

The large number of new issues from Germany and abroad in 1999, as well as the market capitalization, stock-exchange turnover and issue volumes, have made 1999 a record year for Neuer Markt. The Neuer Markt segment is far and away the leading growth market in Europe.
