    As a result of the trading session, held on the MICEX 19 February, 2003, trades turnover in the Stock Market Section reached 15,52 billion rubles (about 492 million dollars). This is a record turnover in the history of stock trades on the MICEX, which were launched in March, 1997. The previous record of 19 November, 2002, was 14,52 billion rubles.     Chicago Mercantile Exchange Inc. (CME) and Merrill Lynch (NYSE: MER) today announced that Merrill Lynch has amended the rules for the Long-Short Technology TRAKRSSM Index, a total return index designed by Merrill Lynch and composed of long positions in individual technology stocks, short positions in technology sectors or sub-sectors, and a possible cash component, effective March 24, 2003.
