CBOE Traded Over 10.1 Million Contracts For The Week Of January 12; Third Highest Weekly Total In Exchange History

The Chicago Board Options Exchange (CBOE), the world's largest options exchange, announced that volume at CBOE last week totaled 10,178,564 contracts. This total represents the third highest weekly volume total in Exchange history. The high mark for all-time weekly volume at CBOE occurred during the week of September 17, 2001 when 11,655,378 contracts were traded.
