Tokyo Stock Exchange: Position Limits Of Equity Options

Neither a trading participant (for its own account) nor a customer may hold an aggregate position in contract units on an Equity Option in excess of such number of contracts units having shares of underlying stock equal to following amounts of combining short positions in put options with long positions in call options of the same underlying stock or combining long positions in put options with short positions in call options of the same underlying stock.
The Philadelphia Stock Exchange Announces April Volume - Sectors Index Option Volume Up Nearly 258% Compared To Same Year-Ago Period

The Philadelphia Stock Exchange announced today that volume in sectors index options trading reached 652,295 contracts marking a nearly 258% increase in volume compared to the same year-ago period when 182,254 contracts traded. Sectors index options trading increased 28.37% from the previous month when 508,134 contracts traded.
Thailand Securities Depository To Be The Registrar For Baht Bond

The Thailand Securities Depository Co., Ltd. (TSD) is forging ahead with its registrar services by providing services for the “Baht Bond” (baht-denominated bond). The TSD has been designated by the Ministry of Finance to serve this duty for any baht-denominated bonds issued by international organizations.

Standard & Poor’s will make the following changes in the S&P/ASX 50 Index effective after the close of trading Monday May 10th, 2004: Mirvac Group (Australia, SEDOL: 6161978 , GICS Code: 40401010) member of the S&P/ASX 50 Index will increase its shares by 12,305,371 to 694,781,135. This change is due to a dividend reinvestment plan. There is no change to the IWF.

The New York Board of Trade® (NYBOT®) announced today that the Ethanol Futures market will open at 8:50 a.m. (NY Time). Ethanol trading will suspend at 9:00 a.m. for the opening of the Sugar No. 11 market. Ethanol trading will then resume with the completion of the Sugar No. 11 opening call. Additionally, the ethanol closing period starts at 12:03 p.m. and the market will close at 12:05 p.m.
