FESE: EU T+1 Industry Committee Launches Second Industry Readiness Survey

To monitor the industry’s progress towards T+1, the EU T+1 Industry Committee has launched the second industry readiness survey. The aim of the survey is to benchmark progress and identify dependencies impacting the transition, while monitoring progress over time. This second iteration of the survey follows its first run from December 2025 to January 2026, whose results can be accessed here.

The Treasury has published its policy statement today on reform of the Consumer Credit Act 1974 (CCA). Reform of the CCA is an important step towards a more flexible regime that supports effective competition and innovation, while maintaining appropriate consumer protection both now and in the future. The proposals set out a framework that places greater emphasis on FCA rules and guidance rather than prescriptive requirements set out in legislation.
