Quarterly Rebalancing For S&P/MIB Index

Standard & Poor’s as part of the quarterly rebalancing, will change the shares outstanding for the S&P/MIB effective at the open of business Monday, June 21, 2004.

NYSE Expands Off-Hours Trading Services

The NYSE will today begin offering two new off-hours crossing sessions as part of a pilot program that will allow traders to fill the balance of customer orders that were placed during the NYSE’s regular 9:30 to 4 p.m. trading session. Crossing Sessions III and IV will operate from 4 to 6:30 p.m. and will accommodate “guaranteed price” and “VWAP” orders respectively.

NYBOT Announces Synthetic Prices Used To Margin Cotton Positions

The New York Board of Trade® (NYBOT®) announced today that in accordance with its New York Clearing Corporation (NYCC) rules, it will utilize an alternate price for purposes of margining outstanding positions at the clearing member level today, June 15, 2004.

New York Mercantile Exchange Reduces Position Limits And Accountability Levels For Copper Futures

The New York Mercantile Exchange, Inc., today will make permanent its reduction in spot month position limits to 3,000 contracts for the copper futures contract and will reduce the any–month/all–months position accountability levels to 5,000 from 10,000 contracts.

Nasdaq Announces Change To Board Of Directors

The Nasdaq Stock Market, Inc. (“NASDAQ®”; OTCBB: NDAQ) today announced that Sir Martin Sorrell, Chief Executive and Director of the WPP Group has retired from the Board of Directors following the completion of the May 26, 2004 annual meeting. Sir Martin cited the demands of his role at WPP and logistics as an overseas Board member as the reasons for retirement. The Board of Directors has elected to reduce the board by one to 17 members following Sir Martin's departure.
