    As of 1 April this year, ICEX will implement the Global Industry Classification Standard (GICS) developed by Morgan Stanley Capital International (MSCI) and Standard & Poor?s (S&P) for classifying listed companies into industries.     Standard & Poor’s will make the following changes in the S&P/MIB index effective after the close of trading Thursday, March 24, 2005: Fastweb (Italy, ISIN: IT0001423562) shares will increase to 79,210,140 and IWF will change to 0.649. The change is the result of the issue of new shares following the company’s rights issue in February – March 2005.

    Dow Jones Indexes today announced a component change in the Dow Jones Sector Titans 30 Index. Grupo Televisa S.A. de C.V. (Mexico) will replace Fox Entertainment Group Inc. (United States) in the Dow Jones Media Titans 30 Index. Fox Entertainment Group Inc. is being deleted because of its acquisition by News Corp.

    In advance of this week's Federal Open Market Committee meeting on March 22, the Chicago Board of Trade will be reporting daily rate change probabilities in the FOMC's federal funds target rate, as indicated by the CBOT 30-Day Federal Funds futures contract. The CBOT 30-Day Federal Funds futures contract is a key benchmark interest rate barometer that reflects the forward overnight effective rate for excess reserves that are traded among commercial banks in the U.S. federal funds market.
