CBOT April 13, 2005 Treasury Conversion Factors

The attached conversion factor tables for the CBOT U.S. Treasury Bond and Note futures complex have been revised to include conversion factors for the following government security that was auctioned on April 13 by the U.S. Treasury Department: 1.) 4s of April 2010 (i.e., a new 5-year note). This 5-year note will be eligible for delivery into the CBOT 5-Year U.S. Treasury Note futures contract beginning with the June 2005 expiry.

As Of April 18th, 2005, Seven New Stock Futures Will Be Traded On The Derivatives Market Of Borsa Italiana

On Monday April the 18th 2005, Borsa Italiana’s IDEM market will launch seven new IDEM stock futures bringing the total number of stock futures traded on the IDEM market up to 34. The underlying shares for the new stock futures contracts are: Aem, Alleanza Assicurazioni, Autogrill, Bulgari, Gruppo Editoriale L’Espresso, Finmeccanica and Luxottica Group. Since the start of the new year, the IDEM market has launched a total of 12 new stock futures contracts.

On Monday, April 4, 2005, a press release from Standard & Poor’s Canadian Index Services announced the results of the annual review of GICS and the changes that would affect S&P/TSX Canadian indices. The Securities and Exchange Commission today instituted administrative and cease-and-desist proceedings against 20 former New York Stock Exchange specialists for fraudulent and other improper trading practices.
