NYBOT Announces Addition Of Barcelona As A Delivery Point For Its Coffee “C” Futures Contract

The New York Board of Trade® (NYBOT®) announced today that effective with the listing for trading of the March 2008 delivery month on April 4, 2006, the Exchange is implementing amendments to its Coffee Rules and Appendices to add the Port of Barcelona, Spain, as a delivery point for its Coffee “C”® futures contract. The amendments, which provide for a differential of 125 points under par for deliveries in the port, apply to the March 2008 delivery month and all delivery months listed thereafte

Open interest in the Kansas City Board of Trade hard red winter wheat futures contract has exceeded 150,000 contracts for the first time in exchange history. At the conclusion of Wednesday’s trade, open interest was at 151,541 contracts. Open interest has been steadily increasing and before this month, the record was at 144,139 contracts on January 27, 2006.

Deutsche Börse is further expanding its XTF segment for exchange-traded funds on the Xetra pan-European trading platform. On Friday, two new products were issued by EasyETF, the AXA Investment Managers and BNP Paribas exchange-traded fund partnership.
