Deutsche Börse AG and the SWX Group intend to combine their warrant and certificate trading activities in a jointly operated securities exchange organisation. Both parties announced the plan on Friday. Banco Santander de Negócios Portugal (BSN Portugal) has chosen FTSEurofirst 80 as the basis for its first certificate on a euro zone index. It becomes the first financial institution to list a FTSEurofirst product in Portugal. The FTSEurofirst 80 certificate, which matures on 16 January 2009, is listed on Euronext Lisbon.
