Stockholm Stock Exchange’s Disciplinary Committee Fines Wedins

Wedins Skor & Accessoarer AB has breached the company’s listing agreement with the Stockholm Stock Exchange by not providing information about an extraordinary general meeting in time and by not handling price-sensitive information in the correct manner. The Stockholm Stock Exchange’s Disciplinary Committee has decided to fine Wedins SEK 576,000.

SGX Extends Deadline For Consultation On New Derivatives Trading Rulebook

Given keen interest in the above consultation paper, SGX has decided to extend the deadline for comments from 15 May 2006 till Monday, 22 May 2006. Interested parties are required to submit their comments to SGX no later than 5pm on 22 May 2006. There will be no further extension beyond this date.

NYMEX To Change Position Limits For Copper Futures Contract

Nasdaq Notifies Listed Companies About Transition To Exchange Status

The Nasdaq Stock Market, Inc. (NASDAQ: NDAQ) has updated NASDAQ-listed companies about its transition to exchange status. NASDAQ received approval from the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) to begin operations as a national securities exchange, once we fulfill several regulatory conditions. NASDAQ expects to begin operations as an exchange for NASDAQ-listed securities as early as June 1, 2006, subject to final SEC approval.

Minneapolis Grain Exchange Makes Personnel Changes

The Minneapolis Grain Exchange (MGEX) announced recent personnel changes. Nancy Krull joined the organization as Manager, Marketing on April 19 and Drew Koenig joined MGEX as Manager, Information Technology on May15. In addition, Erik Randall was promoted to Division Project Manager.

Kogun Removed From ICEX-15

According to the method for selecting companies into and calculating the ICEX-15 index, a company which is the subject of a takeover will be removed from ICEX-15 at the time when 90% of its shares have been acquired or when the company is delisted, whichever comes first. According to an announcement by Dagsbrun hf. earlier today, Skodun ehf., a subsidiary of Dagsbrun, has now acquired 98.7% of the total share capital in Kogun hf. Therefore, the shares of Kogun will at the end of today be removed
