The MCX COMDEX closed at 2242.88 down 50.42 points (-2.25%) during the course of the week; while MCX has recorded a total weekly turnover of Rs.35,331.61 crore for the period June 2, 2006 to June 8, 2006. The MCX Agri Index was the lone gainer and closed at 1637.97 up 60.10 points (3.67%); MCX Energy Index closed at 2678.92 down 60.46 points (-2.26%) and MCX Metal Index closed at 2411.76 down 150.90 points (-6.26%).
