NYSE Regulation Receives SEC Approval To Tighten Classification Of Public Arbitrators

NYSE Regulation, Inc. announced today that the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) has approved amendments to NYSE Rule 607 that strengthen classification guidelines to ensure that persons who serve as public arbitrators will have no ties to the securities industry.

NYMEX To Offer Physically Delivered WTI - Brent Crude Oil Spread On CME Globex®

The New York Mercantile Exchange, Inc. announced today that it will offer electronic spread trading functionality between its physically delivered light sweet crude oil and Brent crude oil futures contracts on CME Globex, beginning September 24 for trade date September 25. The new spread functionality, CL:BB, will replace the current spread between the financially settled crude oil futures and Brent crude oil futures. The French investment firm, Exane S.A., joined Wiener Börse AG a new trading member as of today. Exane S.A. is the fifth international member to be linked as a direct trading member to Wiener Börse this year. This makes the number of investment firms on Wiener Börse 72 of which 32 are foreign investment banks.
