Eurex Clearing Lowers Fees For Equity Transactions On Xetra Additional Volume Discounts For The Clearing Of Algorithmic Trading Transactions - Total Cost Of An Average Order In Algorithmic Trading €1.93/€10,000 Private Client Order Costs €1.27

As of 1 October, Eurex Clearing will be reducing the clearing fees for Xetra orders: The fixed fee per order will be reduced from €0.52 to €0.50; the variable fee remains unchanged at 0.0015 percent of the transaction value. Eurex Clearing also offers volume discounts of up to 49 percent on the fixed clearing fee per order to clients who generate orders on a fully electronic basis using the Automated Trading Program (ATP) on Xetra. Doral Financial Settles Financial Fraud Charges With SEC And Agrees To Pay $25 Million Penalty

The Securities and Exchange Commission today filed financial fraud charges against Doral Financial Corporation, alleging that the NYSE-listed Puerto Rican bank holding company overstated income by 100 percent on a pre-tax, cumulative basis between 2000 and 2004. The Commission further alleges that by overstating its income by $921 million over the period, the company reported an apparent 28-quarter streak of “record earnings” that facilitated the placement of over $1 billion of debt and equit

Corporate Sustainability Index - BOVESPA’s ISE Board Starting Public Hearing On Questionnaire To Assess Companies - Consultation Period To End By September 22 And New Updated Portfolio Due December 1

BOVESPA´s Corporate Sustainability Index (local acronym ISE) is due for updating on December 1, and the draft questionnaire to be used in assessing the sustainability level of public companies wishing to join the new portfolio is now available for public hearing. The document also contains a brief history of socially responsible investment in Brazil, as well as the methodology used by the index in the 2005 portfolio and new developments for 2006.

CBOT Fed Watch - September 19 Market Close

In advance of this week's Federal Open Market Committee meeting on September 20, the Chicago Board of Trade will be reporting daily rate change probabilities in the FOMC's federal funds target rate, as indicated by the CBOT 30-Day Federal Funds futures contract. The CBOT 30-Day Federal Funds futures contract is a key benchmark interest rate barometer that reflects the forward overnight effective rate for excess reserves that are traded among commercial banks in the U.S. federal funds market.

Wiener Börse And Austrian Companies On Tour: Roadshows In London & Edinburgh

The interest shown in the two roadshows in London and Edinburgh on 20 and 21 September 2006 is overwhelming. A number of 25 companies will take part in the investor conference in London organized by Wiener Börse and CA IB, and in Edinburgh (jointly with Raiffeisen Centrobank) the number will even be 23 companies. In comparison, attendance last year was 18 companies in London and 17 in Edinburgh.

STOXX Ltd., the leading European index provider, today launched the Dow Jones EURO STOXX 50 BuyWrite Index. This new measurement tool is the first pan-European buy-write index, which measures the performance of a hypothetical portfolio of a long position of the Dow Jones EURO STOXX 50 Index and a sold call option based on the Dow Jones EURO STOXX 50 Index.
