Circular On Self-Regulatory Measures Taken By CFFEX In November 2024

To prevent market risks, maintain orderly operation of the market and protect investors’ legitimate rights and interests, China Financial Futures Exchange (CFFEX) took the following self-regulatory measures against violations of exchange rules in November 2024.

ASIC: Lead Auditor Of Greensill Group Suspended By Companies Auditors Disciplinary Board Until June 2026

Registered company auditor Joseph John Santangelo will not be able to audit companies until June 2026 after the Companies Auditors Disciplinary Board (CADB) found that he failed to carry out or perform adequately and properly the duties of an auditor in conducting the group audits of the financial statements of the entity comprising Greensill Capital Pty Ltd and its subsidiaries (the Greensill Group).

CFFEX: Notice On Listing Of New China Government Bond Futures Contracts

• The TF2509 5-year China government bond futures contract is scheduled to be listed on December 16, 2024 at the listing benchmark price of RMB 106.405.
• The T2509 10-year China government bond futures contract is scheduled to be listed on December 16, 2024 at the listing benchmark price of RMB 108.42.
• The TS2509 2-year China government bond futures contract is scheduled to be listed on December 16, 2024 at the listing benchmark price of RMB 103.024.
• The TL2509 30-year China government bond futures contract is scheduled to be listed on December 16, 2024 at the listing benchmark price of RMB 117.35.

CFFEX: Notice On Issues Related To The Delivery Of Equity Index Futures And Options Contracts

Pursuant to the Trading Rules of China Financial Futures Exchange and relevant detailed implementation rules, the last trading day of a CSI 300 Index futures, SSE 50 Index futures, CSI 500 Index futures, CSI 300 Index options, CSI 1000 Index futures, CSI 1000 Index options, and SSE 50 Index options contract is the third Friday of the expiry month. Where the last trading day is a public holiday or trading of that contract is suspended on that day for extraordinary situations or other reasons, the last trading day shall be postponed to the following trading day. Accordingly, the last trading day of IF2412, IH2412, IC2412, IO2412(CSI 300 Index options contracts expiring in December 2024), IM2412,MO2412(CSI 1000 Index options contracts expiring in December 2024),and HO2412(SSE 50 Index options contracts expiring in December 2024) is December 20, 2024.
