Matthias Ganz and Mathias Hlubek have resigned from their position as Members of the Executive Board of Deutsche Börse AG effective today. The contracts of employment have been revoked amicably and in mutual agreement. Deutsche Börse made the announcement on Wednesday.

Cairn Energy Exits FTSE 100

Cairn Energy, the oil and gas exploration and production company, will exit the FTSE 100, FTSE Group has confirmed today. The company has been in the index continuously since September 2005, after first joining in September 2004. Replacing Cairn in the FTSE 100 will be Daily Mail & General Trust, which was ejected from the blue chip index nine months ago.

SEC Obtains Order Freezing $3 Million In Proceeds Of Suspected Foreign-Based Account Intrusion Scheme

The Securities and Exchange Commission today announced that on Tuesday, March 6, 2007, it won an emergency court order freezing assets in a Latvian-based bank's trading account being used to conduct a hi-tech market manipulation scheme. The Commission's enforcement action is the third filed in as many months involving market manipulation schemes conducted through online account intrusions.
