Minneapolis Grain Exchange Membership Rally Continues — New Record $215,000

In a rally that shows no signs of stopping, Minneapolis Grain Exchange (MGEX or Exchange) membership values increased again with a new record sale of $215,000 yesterday. That is the eighth membership to trade hands in July with the price increasing 54 percent from $140,000 to $215,000 during the month.

On 1 August 2007, the WSE Management Board adopted a resolution enlarging the group of Authorised Advisers to the NewConnect market. Their number has risen to 36. Authorised Advisers will prepare issuers for an entry to the NewConnect market and support them by providing expertise in the early phase of trading in the market.

Strongest July Ever At The Nordic Exchange

Summer trading on the Nordic Exchange has been very strong. In July the average daily share trading increased by 67 percent compared to last year, amounting to EUR 4.7 billion (July 2006: 2.8 billion) and the number of trades increased by 85 percent compared to last year, amounting to 173,250 trades per day (July 2006: 93,470 trades per day). In July, 7 new companies have been welcomed to theNordic Exchange, which now encompasses a total of 840 companies.

The Nasdaq Stock Market, Inc. (Nasdaq:NDAQ) today announced the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) has approved NASDAQ's new centralized trading and negotiation system for 144A securities. The fully automated Web-based platform, an outgrowth of NASDAQ's 17-year old PORTAL system, is the first centralized electronic system for displaying and accessing trading interest in 144A issues.
