Financial Technologies (India) Ltd (Financial Technologies) has received an approval from the Central Electricity Regulatory Commission (CERC) to set up India’s first national level power exchange – Indian Energy Exchange Limited (IEX) for trading electricity. IEX, promoted by Financial Technologies, will be a pan India neutral and transparent electronic demutualized exchange for efficient price discovery in the electricity market. RTS – FORTS: Trading Volume Of Futures Contracts On RTS Index Has Exceeded 23 Billion Rubles

On September 19, 2007 on FORTS (Futures and Options on RTS) Derivatives Market a new record trading volume of futures on RTS Index was registered. By the trading day results, the trading volume made up 223 375 contracts or 23 billion rubles.
