  • London Stock Exchange Upgrades TradElect - Speed, Capacity And Functionality Improved For MiFID

    The London Stock Exchange today announced the completion of a significant upgrade to TradElect, its recently launched electronic trading platform, as volume growth continues. Release 2.0, as the upgrade is called, has improved processing speed by 40 per cent, system capacity by 70 per cent and has added functionality that allows the Exchange to offer market users a full suite of MiFID compliant solutions.

  • HKEx To Start Closing Auction Session On 26 May 2008

    Hong Kong Exchanges and Clearing Limited (HKEx) announced today (Wednesday) a closing auction session for its securities market will commence on 26 May 2008. The target date takes into consideration system preparations by Exchange Participants and the scheduled introduction of five-digit stock codes in April 2008.

  • Malaysia's KLSI, Second Board And MESDAQ Indices Retire And Replaced By FTSE Bursa Malaysia Indices

    Bursa Malaysia will retire the Kuala Lumpur Syariah Index (KLSI), Second Board and MESDAQ indices which will be replaced with the FTSE Bursa Malaysia EMAS Shariah, FTSE Bursa Malaysia Second Board and FTSE Bursa Malaysia MESDAQ Index respectively on 1 November 2007. The retirement of the KLSI will see the FTSE Bursa Malaysia EMAS Shariah Index become the primary index for Malaysian Shariah-compliant investments.
